Albertite is a type of sulfonated asphalt with different softening points, and it offers several functions for oilfield applications as demonstrated below.
Function
Our product is able to control the HTHP filtration rate in oil-based systems, and it is often adopted to harden softer petroleum products because of its excellent compatibility.
On the other hand, Albertite is a preferred oilfield chemical additive to control fluid loss and loss circulation of oil-based fluids, while it also serves as an effective fluid loss controller and slurry weight reducer for cementing.
