Features and application
The calcium nitrate for agricultural use is a fully water soluble fertilizer and one of the most favored fertilizers in the market. The calcium nitrate can supply soil with calcium and nitrogen supplement, hence enhancing its physical properties. It is suitable to all types of soil and performs especially well in the acid soil in need of calcium. It overshadows other similar products with its good performance such as disease resistance. The crops can intake the nutrients well with the use of calcium nitrate in the soil. Thus the crop grows well with shorten mature period. It is especially suitable for the cultivation of tomato, potato, peanut, apple, corn, etc.
The fertilization can be realized by top-dressing, flushing, dripping and spraying on leaves.
1. Calcium nitrate can’t be matched with potassium sulphate, ammonium sulfate and phosphate; otherwise the manurial effect will be counteracted.
2. It boasts good water solubility performance with clear and transparent solution. It should not be used together with other insoluble fertilizers.
3. It should be stored in cool and good ventilation conditions. The storing temperature should be above 28℃. Keep away from fire and heat.
Calcium nitrate should be packed in 25kg or 1000kg plastic bag. Customized bags are available.
